October 2, 2011. Notwithstanding another typhoon, Quiel, we're all set for a Luneta visit. It's Sunday, and the weather was quite well even with a storm signal. A visit to the church is a must but this time, not at Sto. Domingo (resident church) but at San Sebastian Church. The famous church build with metals. The reason, I need to go to my school we're I'm reviewing for my Cisco Certification. I need assistance on how to install something on my computer needed for my training. It was located near San Sebastian, so inevitably, we go there for our weekly sermon and time with Him. After the mass, We go to SM manila to refresh ourselves, and eventually for our lunch. Then, off to Luneta!. We visit the playgrounds. It was Sunday, and of course, a jampacked crowd. The weather sets in, rain started fallin'. We looked for a place to cover us from the rain especially our baby boy Toph. We found one and settled in. There we were able to relax, and Toph had a well quiet nap. We took some pictures prior to that and also after the rain. We're also awaiting for Toph's nanny sisters. Our meeting spot didn't turned out quite well. We picked them up and there, storm Quiel caught us! We came in prepared, our umbrellas saved us. We have to cut-short our itinerary that day and settled with a snack at Tophs' favorite snack house, Jollibee. There we had great time and our nanny's enjoyed as well. Storm caught us but it doesn't stop our laughters. It was still a successful trip and quality time with them.
My wife's masterpiece...
rain ready to drop anytime...
see the rain?... look at Mae's reaction still, mantaining her poise for a shot...
Tophee doin his snack... French Fries!
Tophee, smile! ... his version...
This is Joy, Tophs' nanny...
Know her already. Mae, Tophs' part-time nanny and Joy's sister...
Thanks!

Together Against a Storm
We're about ready. All set for work. September 27, 2011. I've cooked our packed lunch for our 12 o'clock break at work. All set to go to work. A message was received from my Boss, Work is Supended! Typhoon Pedring hits Metro Manila!. It was Signal No. 2 but the wind is so strong that some of the roofs we're in the streets. We're still worried with our incentive at work. I called at the office, no advised yet said by the guard on duty until a text from my wife's Boss confirmed that work was really suspended. A bonding with our child is all set, planning during our breakfast. Darkness! power supply shuts down. Our activities we're limited. That's when I decided to do strobist work with my family and others as my subject at home. It was fun even though we have no power. Our day runs well, most of it while sleeping. At last, power came back. Just in time, for us to go to sleep at night without worrying for our baby's comfort. The day after, It was sad to see the effects and damages done by storm Pedring mostly in Bulacan, Pampanga, Manila and some places in the Philippines. Hopefully we recover soon. We're praying for it.

A Helping Hand During a Baptismal Event
Recently, last September 25. I was invited by my mentor, Norman to assist him again. This time, a baptismal reception. Lucas, son of Arnold, an officemate of ours. The event was held at Max's restaurant in Chino Roces, Quezon City. It was a successful, quiet event. Met a lot of new people, some celebrities. Of course, I handle most of the group shots. I tested our newly purchased 2nd hand, 2nd camera. A Nikon D70. It performed well and I'm quite satisfied with the captures. Here are some of the happenings during the event...
